The Motivational Interviewing training is now broken into 4-part modules, with each session focusing on specific M.I. skills or topics. Each module comprises of one self-directed e-Learning, one Zoom session and a follow-up Zoom call, which is scheduled for the following week after each initial session. Participants will be able to seek additional feedback after applying their new M.I. skills in direct practice. To acquire a certificate for this training, participants are required to attend both Zoom sessions. The best learning outcomes will be achieved through completing these sessions in order.
MI 2: Change Talk
The focus of the second session will be on change talk, with time spent on the different subtypes of change talk. The aim is to help you better recognise and respond to change talk when it is evoked from your clients.

Tuesday 16 March 2021 from 9.00am - 12 noon and,
Tuesday 23 March from 1.00pm - 2.00pm.
Pre-requisite: MI 1: The Spirit of MI Virtual Classroom,
Foundational AOD Concepts (for those new to AOD)
Micro-counselling e-Learning (for those new to counselling)
Prior to signing up to attend it is expected that you will ensure you are able to access a computer with an internet connection that will allow streaming of video.
