Micro-counselling Skills training involves a blended learning program consisting of the self-directed e-Learning module – Micro-counselling Skills (pre-requisite) - and a half-day interactive workshop. Participants are recommended to complete the e-Learning module in the week prior to their schedule workshop (approx. one hour). The best learning outcomes will be achieved through completing these sessions in order.
The workshop builds on the topics covered in the introductory e-Learning module and offers opportunities for further application and practice. Topics covered in the interactive workshop session include:
Pre-requisite: Micro-counselling eLearning.
Presenters: James Hoey and Michelle Taylor.
Tea, coffee and a light lunch are provided at all full-day workshops at Biala. Please note that the air conditioning can be temperamental, so bring a jacket if you think you may need one. The building is wheelchair accessible and interpreters, captioning services and other sensory impairment aids can be organised if required. Please contact us at least 2 weeks prior to your workshop to discuss.
