achieving good health and well-being for all Queenslanders. In 2021\, it
is anticipated that QScript a real-time prescription monitoring system wil
l be available to prescribers and pharmacists. Prescription medicine relat
ed harms is multifaceted and requires both system level and individual lev
el action to succeed. QScript is an essential mechanism in the growing cha
llenge to promote the quality use of medicines and minimise harms. This pr
esentation is designed to assist Queensland health practitioners to better
understand and meet their legislative requirements under the new Medicine
s and Poisons Act (2019) in relation to QScript. \n\nDr Jensen is Assistan
t to the Chief Health Officer\, Queensland Health. She has specialist qual
ifications as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Admini
strators (RACMA). Dr Jensen is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Tropical M
edicine and Hygiene (UK) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine (UK
). She is an Associate Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Servic
e Management. Dr Jensen holds a Master of Health Management and is a Certi
fied Health Informatician of Australasia. Dr Jensen is a member of the Ame
rican College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the American College of
Medical Quality (ACMQ). Dr Jensen is the Continuing Professional Developme
nt Coordinator for the joint Queensland and Northern Territory jurisdictio
n for RACMA and the Deputy Jurisdictional Coordinator of Training. \n\nDr
