MODULE AIM:Completion of this course will enable practitioners to better understand MDMA including its history, harm reduction, tolerance, dependence and treatment.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:

By the end of this module, learners will be able to: 

  • describe MDMA, including its history, rates of use, forms, weights, measures and costs, 
  • describe why people use MDMA, the route of administration, its effects and harms and features of dependence, 
  •  communicate MDMA specific harm reduction strategies,
  • implement strategies and techniques to manage someone who has overdosed on MDMA.
