Cultural Considerations in Mental Health Assessment will help you:

  • Ask questions to elicit the sociocultural considerations when assessing a person
  • Incorporate sociocultural considerations into mental health assessments and case formulation

This eLearning course is suitable for all new and experienced mental health practitioners. Participation in the course will help to improve your capacity to meet the Partnering with Consumers and Comprehensive Care Standards outlined in the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards 2017.

Cultural Considerations in Mental Health Assessment also contains supporting resources and tools to help mental health practitioners incorporate an understanding of culture within case formulation.
