This Organisational Readiness Toolkit has been developed by Insight's AOD Lived-Living Experience (AOD LLE) Educators in consultation with representatives of the AOD LLE / peer workforce across government and non-government settings and their employers. Drawing on both peer-reviewed and grey literature from around the world alongside the range of fantastic guidelines, tools and resources already in existence across Australia, the aim of this resource is to help guide managers and team leaders through the various stages of integrating an AOD LLE workforce into their organisational structures in a safe, ethical, effective, and sustainable manner.
Each textbook contains summaries, links, tools, templates, examples, and further information around the specific processes relevant to each stage. Managers and team leaders can use these resources to inform their internal planning and processes in ways that align with best practice and address the unique requirements of this workforce.
This toolkit will be regularly revised and updated with new and improved resources as they are developed and become available.
We invite you to let us know your thoughts on the toolkit at any time by completing a brief survey available here [survey opens in a new tab].
