During this session, Tony will present the findings from a recent Australian study that explored consumers’ experiences of long-acting injectable buprenorphine. In view of these insights, and reflecting on how clients from different backgrounds experience long-acting injectable buprenorphine in varying ways, he will consider implications for clinical practice and how care might be improved in the future.
Dr Tony Barnett is a Research Fellow at the School of Psychology and National Centre for Youth Substance Use Research with University of QLD.
