Health4Her: a novel, tailored brief intervention to address risky alcohol consumption among women attending breast screening services

by Insight

Alcohol is a major modifiable risk factor for female breast cancer, yet awareness of this risk remains surprisingly low. This presentation covers research into the prevalence of risky alcohol consumption among a large Australian breast screening service consumer cohort, and the collaborative design and testing of a novel, tailored alcohol brief intervention implemented in the breast screening setting.
