MODULE AIM:The aim of this module is to provide an overview of the history, context and dominant models of AOD use over time.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:

By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

•    understand the moral, legal, and disease models of substance use
•    grasp related concepts like social environment, adverse childhood events, and epigenetics
•    Comprehend the biopsychosocial model of substance use, along with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspective on social and emotional well-being.
