MODULE AIM:The aim of this module is to equip workers with a basic understanding of psilocybin.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:

By the end of this module learners will be able to: 

  • describe psilocybin, including its history, rates of use, forms, weights, measures and costs,
  • describe why people use psilocybin, the route of administration, its effects and harms and features of dependence,
  • communicate psilocybin specific harm reduction strategies,
  • implement strategies and techniques to manage someone who has overdosed on psilocybin.
LENGTH:30 minutes
CPD:This module may contribute towards CPD. A Statement of Completion will be issued on completion of this module.
