MODULE AIM:The aim of this module is to equip workers with a basic understanding of ketamine.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:

By the end of this module learners will be able to: 

  • describe ketamine, including its history, rates of use, forms, weights, measures and costs
  • describe why people use ketamine, the route of administration, its effects and harms and features of dependence
  • communicate ketamine specific harm reduction strategies
  • implement strategies and techniques to manage someone who has overdosed on ketamine.
LENGTH:30 minutes
CPD:Participation in this module may contribute towards CPD. A Statement of Completion will be issued on completion of this module.
