MODULE AIM:

The aim of this module is to provide knowledge about the cannabis withdrawal state, and to equip learners with strategies and tools for supporting individuals experiencing withdrawal. 

N.B. For specialist withdrawal management training tailored for nurses and other medical staff, please access our face-to-face and online workshops.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

  • describe the concept of cannabis withdrawal - its symptoms and timeline
  • describe the options for managing withdrawal from cannabis (including prescribed medicinal cannabis)
  • understand considerations for withdrawal from synthetic forms of cannabis.
