Concerns are increasing regarding the rising rates of syphilis and other sexually transmissible infections among people who experience alcohol and other drug and/or mental health issues in Queensland.  This presentation will explore the intersection between sexual health and substance use, and mark the launch of a suite of new educational products and resources designed to equip workers with the knowledge, skills and confidence to undertake a basic sexual health assessment and effective brief interventions with clients.
