MODULE AIMThe aim of this module is to help workers understand and intentionally apply an active listening sequence of skills to support engagement and the provision of effective counselling.
LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

  • apply a listening sequence based on active listening skills
  • consider adaptions to these skills to meet culturally appropriate needs
  • engage in a process of self-reflection to enhance skills.
