MODULE AIMThis course provides an introduction to a family inclusive practice approach within alcohol and other drug settings.  It allows learners to reflect on how this approach can be incorporated into their work. 
LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

  • describe what family inclusive practice (FIP) is and how it can improve outcomes for clients and families
  • identify principles of FIP and reflect on how these impact the way we work
  • list the different ways services can incorporate family inclusive practice
  • reflect on how to implement these ways of working into existing workplaces.

CPDParticipation in this activity may contribute to CPD. A Statement of Completion will be issued on completion of this module.
