Although the majority of our clients present with a history of trauma and ongoing symptoms of traumatic stress, it is typically not discussed or acknowledged as a significant factor in someone’s mental health and/substance use difficulties. In this ‘National Blue Knot Week’ presentation we will explore what trauma informed care is - and what it is not - and how you can become trauma informed as a clinician.
