MODULE AIMThe aim of this module is to equip you with an understanding of boundaries within your professional role, empower you to navigate workplace expectations with confidence, and foster professional integrity and sustainability in your career
LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

  • understand the development of the AOD Peer Work sector and why boundaries are an important aspect of the work we do
  • identify and describe boundaries specific to your workplace, including your workplace’s expectations regarding professional boundaries
  • describe the importance of recognising and maintaining boundaries in peer worker relationships
  • describe different approaches to managing potential and/or actual boundary crossings
  • respond effectively to situations or behaviours that may challenge your boundaries
