Drug Trends is a unique, long-standing national monitoring program that includes annual interviews with people across Australia who regularly use drugs. We present highlights of the Queensland and national findings from 2023's interviews about patterns of substance use and related behaviours, drug markets and harm reduction efforts.

Dr Rachel Sutherland is a Senior Research Fellow at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre with University of NSW and Associate Professor Caroline Salom is the Principal Research Fellow at the Institute of Social Science Research at The University of Queensland.
