Completion of this module will enable practitioners to manage the challenges of having honest conversations with both their patients as well as with prescribers.
This module provides participants with a theoretical understanding of how to engage in challenging conversations and avert communication breakdown through implementing micro-counselling skills. It will also provide examples of applying these skills to having conversations with medical practitioners.
By the end of this module, learners will be able to:
|CPD:||This module is accredited for 1 hour of Group 1 CPD (or 1 CPD credits) suitable for inclusion in an individual pharmacist’s CPD plan which can be converted to 1 hour of Group 2 CPD (or 2 CPD credits) upon successful completion of relevant assessment activities with APC.
