Want to know more about substance use but don't work in an AOD or mental health setting? Then this is the learning for you.

These introductory modules provide a basic overview of substance use and society, including how to conduct a brief intervention with someone for whom AOD may be a concern. They are recommended for anyone working in health and community service settings - including those employed in statutory and welfare contexts - where alcohol and drug is an issue, but may not be the primary focus of your role.

PLEASE NOTE: Workers employed within specialist AOD and mental health settings are advised to skip these modules and proceed directly to Learning Levels 1, 2 and 3 where concepts, theories and skills are explored in greater detail.
