Margo Watson and Anjuli Dudley

Queensland’s Police Drug Diversion program will soon be expanded to include all minor drug offences, not only cannabis, and the implementation of a new tiered approach, allowing for a warning followed by two opportunities for diversion to a health response. This presentation will outline details of this new model and the accompanying health response.

Margo Watson is the A/Inspector of the Drug and Alcohol Coordination Unit with the Queensland Police Service and Anjuli Dudley is the Principal Policy Officer at the Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Strategy and Planning Branch with the Department of Health.
