MODULE AIMThis module provides an overview of some practice tools you can use when employing a family inclusive practice approach within an AOD setting.
LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

  • recognise how families are important in AOD practice
  • complete a brief genogram or timeline for a case example
  • identify the key elements of family brief interventions in the context of family inclusive practice.

    Please note: Some content within this module is identical to material featured within module “Working with young people’s families and significant others” found within the ‘Working with young people’ eLearning series.
