This presentation will provide an overview of the clinical characteristics of youth presenting to AOD treatment and examine treatment engagement. The benefits and challenges of engaging youth in AOD treatment will be discussed. 

Gabrielle is a Senior Research Fellow at the School of Psychology, and National Centre for Youth Substance Use Research, University of Queensland and the research manager for the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence on Meaningful Outcomes in Substance Use Treatment.
