MODULE AIMThis module aims to provide an overview of the aims, concepts and evidence related to screening and brief intervention in AOD work.
LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

  • describe the benefits of screening and brief intervention in AOD work
  • give examples of factors that should be considered when selecting a screening tool
  • summarise one or more brief intervention models that can be used to facilitate change-focussed conversations with clients.
