MODULE AIMCompletion of this course will enable practitioners to better understand MDMA including its history, harm reduction, tolerance, dependence and treatment.
LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

  • describe MDMA, including its history, rates of use, forms, weights, measures and costs, 
  • describe why people use MDMA, the route of administration, its effects and harms and features of dependence,
  • communicate MDMA specific harm reduction strategies,
  • implement strategies and techniques to manage someone who has overdosed on MDMA.

CPDParticipation in this activity may contribute to CPD. A Statement of Completion will be issued on completion of this module.
