MODULE AIM:This module aims to equip workers with skills to prevent, recognise, and respond to distress that may escalate into confrontation or aggression, using trauma-informed and person-centred approaches.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:At the end of this module, workers will be able to:
    •    identify early signs of distress that may lead to conflict or aggression
    •    identify key personal, environmental and interpersonal factors that influence behaviour
    •    use evidence-informed de-escalation techniques 
    •    apply strategies for personal safety, self-care, and team collaboration following challenging incidents.
LENGTH:45 minutes
CPD:Participation in this activity may contribute to CPD. A Statement of Completion will be issued on completion of this module.
