MODULE AIMThe aim of this module is to familiarise workers with the most common pharmacotherapy medicines that are used in the provision of AOD treatment.
LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

  • describe what pharmacotherapy is and how it can be used to treat substance dependence
  • describe the primary pharmacotherapy treatments used with each specific substance of dependence.
