MODULE AIMThe aim of this module is to equip workers with a basic understanding of cannabis.
LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

  • describe the different forms of medicinal cannabis products that may be prescribed in Queensland, and their effects
  • identify conditions that may make medicinal cannabis unsuitable
  • describe harm reduction strategies for using medicinal cannabis
  • identify an overdose of medicinal cannabis
  • describe discontinuation symptoms and how to safely cease use of medicinal cannabis.

CPDParticipation in this activity may contribute to CPD. A Statement of Completion will be issued on completion of this module.
