Please note: There have been some recent changes to Queensland legislation which are not yet reflected in the content of this eLearning package, particularly in relation to new Medicines and Poison Act, QScript and associated changes to prescribing and dispensing processes. These will be updated shortly. In the meanwhile, please refer to the Department of Health's QScript page for details of the changes.
These self-paced modules are available for GPs and other Medical and Nurse Practitioners who are seeking to become authorised to prescribe opioid treatment in Queensland.

Upon successful completion of the module you will be emailed instructions detailing next steps based on the prescriber type you are applying for.
Please note, this module is highly recommended for those who are facilitating a Shared Care agreement.
Please complete this course if you are applying to become a Level 2 QOTP prescriber of buprenorphine-naloxone medication for up to 20 patients.
Upon successful completion of the module you will be emailed instructions on how to complete the authorisation process for this prescriber class.
