In this hands-on session, you'll learn ways to use Insight's Benzodiazepine Check: Ways to Reduce Harms tool. Through practice activities and interactive discussions with other participants, you will explore strategies for using to this tool to have person-centred conversations aimed at helping people reduce risks associated with their benzodiazepine use.
The following is required in order to enrol and participate in this workshop:
- You are a Queensland-based worker.
- You have a working camera and microphone which are turned on and remain activated for the entire session.
- You have the ability to access links and resources shared in the session, with options to print or view them electronically on your device.
- You have a quiet, appropriate space with minimal distractions.
- That materials or resources from this workshop are not shared without Insight’s prior approval.
Please note: Keeping your camera on and actively participating throughout the session via microphone and chat is an essential requirement of this workshop, including in breakout rooms with other participants. Our Educators have been instructed to exit any participant who is unable to meet these requirements out of respect to other learners in the session.
As these workshops are brief, interactive training sessions, entry will close 5 minutes after the start time. If you arrive after this time, you can rebook another session through the Insight website. Please be on time to ensure your participation.
To receive a Certificate of Attendance you are required to stay for the full duration of the session.
