This toolkit has been designed to assist Police and Court Diversion service providers with training, resources and job aids to effectively deliver the program in Queensland.
Please note:
In April 2026, the Queensland Parliament passed the Expanding Adult Crime, Adult Time and Taking a Strong Stance on Drugs and Anti-Social Behaviour Amendment Bill 2026, which creates a new Illicit Drug Enforcement and Diversion Framework (IDEDF) and replaces the existing Police Drug Diversion program. Commencement of the IDEDF is expected in late 2026 and will result in changes to the content currently presented within this toolkit and associated eLearning modules.
Until such time the content of this toolkit and modules remains current.
